The Fernandes have the body structure and a slightly similar appearance to a wild elk. Males tend to have darker pelts than females, males have large antlerswhereas females don't, the Fernandes have black swirly symbols imprinted on their pelt though on their rear haunches the symbols are white (only applies to males). The bucks has puffy chests and hooves thicker than the females. Males become extremely aggressive and hostile to other males on mating season. You'll likely see two bucks fighting for a female mate. They say that the venison of the Fernandes when roasted is incredibly tasty. Their mating season arrives at Spring. Their life span is 50-60 years. 'Fernandes' means 'Graceful' in the Skyan language.
